At left is the main Quotation input screen. Here, you can write, view, print or e-mail your quotations or estimates, make pricelists and catalogs, convert quote to invoice and more.  
You can add text lines to quotations and invoices, and use the optional 'Extra' column, which you can re-name to suit. Hide totals where you offer alternatives.
Trading conditions can be added to each Quotation (they are set on Setup p.6).

The printed Quotation has an Acceptance Slip. Clients can tear it off, sign and return it to as their go-ahead for this offer.
There is a report which alerts you to Quotations that have not yet been accepted so you can follow them up and avoid clients buying somewhere else! How often do your quotations fail because there's been no follow-up?
Set up your sources of business and keep track of your advertising and promotional success.
There's space for keeping internal notes about this estimate.

There are several ways to add items to the Quotation. 
Simply type what you want
Use the pick list
From the 'code' dropdown on start of each line
Shown at left is the Pick list. Use the yellow fields at top to quickly find any item, or select a group in the left column, then click on the item you want to add at right - it's done. You can change the description, quantity or unit price, if the list price is not applicable for this customer. Or set up price levels to auto-assign prices for selected customer.
Add unlimited plain text - this allows you to fully explain your offer.

It is easy to convert a quotation into an invoice. Just click the Convert button and there it is. This example shows the invoice created from the Quotation at top.
Make last-minute changes, if required, then print or e-mail the invoice.

It is also possible to convert a quotation or estimate into a recurring billing template.

ORDER ENTRY: If you don't use quotations, you can use this section to enter your orders as they are received and, instead of sending a quotation, you send an Order Confirmation. The quotation headers can be changed on Setup p.5
When the order is ready to be supplied, click on Convert and it's done. The 'Extra' column can then be used to advise back-ordered or cancelled items.

Seriously fast data entry
If you send quotations that are lengthy or have many line items, you can copy the content of any quote to make another with the Template button. Just select another customer and make any changes that are appropriate on the resulting new quotation.
Just think how much time is saved by not having to manually repeat entries countless times.
